Hi, I’m Jason.

My photography style is a blend of contemporary and natural. I aim to create a comfortable and relaxed environment where you can truly be yourselves, cherishing every moment in front of my camera. I’m all about capturing those spontaneous split seconds, tight hugs, quiet moments, and the joy felt by every guest.

I take pride in making sure my dudes (the groom) feel totally at ease. Wedding day nerves are natural, but I'm pretty great at building up their confidence (egos) and reminding them just how amazing their wedding day is going to be. I was that guy last year at my wedding! I know exactly what he is going through.

Throughout your wedding, I’ll be there to immortalise all the candid, intimate moments shared between you and your loved ones. During portrait sessions, I’ll guide you to ensure natural interactions and capture both playful and tender moments.

  • I currently live in Cairns, however, as of 2025 I’ll be moving to Townsville.

    Most weddings are in Far North Queensland, but I’m available for weddings throughout Australia and internationally.

  • HECK Yeah! Mixing my passion for wedding photography and travel is a winning combination.

    Destination weddings have an estimated cost for travel of $1000. This cost covers return flights, accommodation and rental car.

  • Expect to receive 700 900 images for a Full Day Wedding Package. An Elopement Package can expect 200 - 300 images.

  • It takes 4 - 5 weeks to edit and deliver your wedding package.

  • Typically, couples seeking a wedding photographer reserve my services about 12-18 months ahead. By year-end, prime wedding dates for the following year are usually booked

  • To create a visual story of your day the sweet spot is around 10 hours. This way I can shoot you both getting ready right through to the reception where your guests are busting out their best dance moves on the dance floor!

  • An unplugged ceremony is a wedding where guests are kindly asked to refrain from using electronic devices, such as smartphones or cameras, during the ceremony. This request is made to encourage guests to be fully present and engaged in the moment, without distractions from technology. It allows everyone to focus on the significance of the occasion and enhances the intimacy of the experience.

  • I don't provide discounts on my services. Due to the limited number of weddings I capture in a season in Cairns and Townsville, availability is restricted regardless of the wedding day, so discounts aren't offered.

  • Certainly! I'll send you an online gallery featuring a selection of your wedding photos within a week following your wedding.

  • I won’t pose you, I’ll direct you. I’ll have my portal Bluetooth speaker playing your favourite tunes to keep up the good vibes. Most of the time you won't know I'm taking photos. I’ll give you simple directions and guidance to make sure you’re looking your best!
