Okay… hear me out. The Creek is worth the drive. 2.5 hours south of Townsville or a 30-minute drive north of Airlie Beach.
This working farm, sprawling 800 acres, offers a captivating backdrop for your special occasion. From its expansive grassy paddocks to the presence of horses and cattle grazing under the sunset, this property offers photo opportunities at every turn.
The creek can host both ceremonies and receptions. There is a large wooden arbour outside ready for your florist to decorate. The courtyard outside the barn is perfect for cocktail time, mingling, and snagging a few canapés before you head off for photos. All your photo locations are within walking distance, and the sunsets are next level. Last but not least, The Barn itself! This reception space is perfect if you're after that modern and rustic vibe. It also helps reduce your stress because you have a wet weather option.
